2. QuickStart - Go to "NewsLetter"'s preferences. - The first checkbox means "send a single message, all recipients will be BCC". The recipient of the message will be a blank recipient, so the others can't see all the list. If you use this option, you won't be able to customize the subject and body of the message, since you are using the same for all recipients. This is useful if you need attach a *big* archive to the message (and you don't encode-and-send the same attachment to every single destinatary) or you don't need customize the subject or body of the message for each recipient. - The "from" field is the mail address which will see the recipient of your message. Basically, your email address or the address where your recipient should redirect his reply. - Now, you should know how-to configure the rest of preferences. If you don't, take a look the the third step: Setup Newsletter. - Return to the main window. - Drop onto the "recipients" field a plain text file containing a comma-delimited list of email addresses (simple email addresses, no "Kirk <kirk@cameron.com>"). - Create the subject and body of your message (you can drop a plain-text file onto the body field). - If you need it, you can now customize both the subject and the body. If you don't need it, you are done. Otherwise, read the fourth step: Use Newsletter. |
